If you voted on a paper or provisional ballot in-person on Election Day, and not on a voting machine, you may need to take additional action to make sure your vote was counted. You only have until TODAY, Friday, November 6, to fix your provisional ballot, so don’t wait!
To confirm that you mail ballot was counted, go to www.mvp.sos.ga.gov and enter your information on the right. Once you are in your “My Voter Page,” click on “Click here for Absentee Ballot Status” on the bottom left. You will be able to confirm if your ballot was received or if there were any problems with it.
What to do if Your Absentee Ballot is Rejected?
Ballots can be rejected for various reasons, and have to be “cured” to be counted. But don’t panic, you can fix it! Contact DeKalb County Voter Registration & Election at 404-298-4020 before 4:30 PM.
